Dr Timmerman Devoted to Continuing Education

Filed under: Uncategorized — Dr. Timmerman @ 12:58 pm

Dr Timmerman has again returned from another great course at the Las Vegas Institute where he learned even more on managing a person’s bite. The class was called Coronoplasty, which is a fancy way of saying changing the shape of the crown of the teeth. It is amazing how very little changes can make such profound improvements to how people feel when they bite and chew. This course taught how to use sophisticated computerized equipment to verify and establish, in essence to fine tune, a person’s bite.

This is most significant with people that suffer from TMJ dysfunction, or jaw joint pain. With a bite that is stable, people are more comfortable and able to live a normal active life.
